CN01 – Cas9 Nickase Protein with NLS – 50 µg

This Cas9 nickase protein is a D10A mutant form of wild-type Cas9, designed to introduce single-strand nicks instead of double-strand breaks. It reconstitutes to 1 mg/ml and provides 300 pmol of Cas9 activity (6 µM × 50 µl). This format is ideal for knock-in (KI) studies, precise genome editing, and experiments requiring minimized off-target cleavage.

Incorporating a nuclear localization signal (NLS), this protein efficiently targets the nucleus, ensuring optimal delivery of CRISPR RNPs. Supplied as a 50 µg lyophilized format, it is compatible with sgRNA pairing and supports electroporation, lipofection, or microinjection delivery methods.

Cas9 nickase is commonly used in paired-nick approaches to reduce off-target risks while preserving editing precision.
