pPNA-S is a chloroplast rRNA-specific PNA blocker designed to target the conserved plant 16S rRNA sequence: ggctcaaccctggacag. It significantly reduces off-target amplification of chloroplast rRNA during PCR and NGS workflows, enhancing nuclear gene visibility in complex plant DNA and RNA samples.
