TelC-Cy5 is a C-rich telomere PNA probe designed to hybridize specifically to the CCCTAA repeat in human telomeres. It is labeled with Cy5, producing far-red fluorescence ideal for multiplexed FISH imaging and co-localization studies. This PNA-based probe offers superior binding specificity and stability compared to DNA probes, with lower background and improved signal clarity.
It is perfect for advanced telomere research, including chromosomal stability analysis, aging studies, and cancer diagnostics, especially where multiple fluorescence channels are required.
Each vial contains 5 nmole, which is usually good enough to stain more than 500 slides.
