Product Description
TelG-FAM is a G-rich telomere PNA probe designed for FISH-based detection of human telomeres. Labeled with FAM (green fluorophore), it binds the complementary TTAGGG repeat in metaphase chromosomes and interphase nuclei.
Utilizing a non-charged PNA backbone, this probe delivers high signal-to-noise ratios, superior hybridization specificity, and minimal background, making it ideal for aging research, cancer diagnostics, and telomere length analysis. With enhanced photostability and sensitivity, it is compatible with most standard FISH workflows.
Each vial contains 5 nmole, which is usually good enough to stain more than 500 slides.
