EUB338 PNA FISH Probe, Cy5 labeled, is a fluorescent peptide nucleic acid probe designed for the detection of a broad range of bacteria by fluorescence in situ hybridization. This probe targets the conserved bacterial 16S rRNA region represented by the EUB338 sequence and is labeled with Cy5 for red fluorescence detection. The PNA backbone provides strong and specific hybridization with improved stability compared with DNA probes.
